1st Minimum age
The minimum age for enrolment is 16 years old. Please contact us for younger students’ bookings.
2nd Payment policy
All payments are due to be paid at least 1 week before the student’s arrival either by:
1) Bank transfer to the following bank account (all bank charges must be paid by the sender):

Very important:
- For tracking purposes, please send us a copy of your bank transfers by fax.
- Clearly indicate the name (s) of the student(s) on the transfers as well as their reference number.
- Bank charges and commissions should be added to the total amount.
In case the agency shows ignorance of settling the invoice, IHDEMU will be able to claim the payment directly from the student. Please do not forget we do not accept credit cards.
3rd Cancellation and refund policy
All cancellations must be notified in writing to our office (letter, fax or e-mail). Cancellations not received by writing means not to be accepted.
- Cancellations made 14 days before arrival will have a 250 € cancellation fee. Balance due will be returned.
- Once the chosen programme has begun (Spanish course and/or accommodation), no refund whatsoever will be received.
- IHDEMU cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to Act of God, natural disasters, student’s health or personal problems.
- No refund will be received due to visa issue.
In all cases, we will give you credit for a year in order to carry on with your course.
4rd Accommodation
The reservation is made on a weekly basis. The accommodation is available between 12,00 h p.m. on the Sunday prior to the first day of the course – Monday - until 12,00 h p.m. on the Saturday after they complete the course. It is also possible to request additional days but IHDEMU does not guarantee the availability of extra days of accommodation in the same host family.
5th Complaints or comments
In case of default or complaint, students must report their complaint in writing to the school secretary office by writing within the first week after arrival. IHDEMU will certify the situation within 2 working days and will inform the agency.
6th Responsibility
IHDEMU does not accept responsibility for losses or damages to personal properties. Students are advised to take out personal insurance to cover themselves against any cause.
7th Changes
IHDEMU refers the right to alter dates, timetables or teaching premises without prior notice. In case students wish to change their type of accommodation for personal reasons once they are in the school, there will NOT be any administration charge for the change the first time; after that, 50 € will be charged for administration fees. If students decide to extend their stay with us, you will be accordingly informed and you will receive the commission on the extensions.
8th Misconduct
IHDEMU reserves the right to cancel the registration-agreement if the payment is not made according to the given instructions. This will also apply should the student not follow or respect the rules and regulations of the school, exhibits poor behaviour or does not attend classes regularly.
9th Insurance
Students are not covered for any illness, accidents, loss of personal property (neither at the accommodation or in / out the classroom). We recommend the use of an optional insurance from the student’s country of origin. Please ask us for details.
10th Holidays
The school will be closed when local or national holidays take place but whenever two holidays in a week we shall make up one of them. One to one classes are always covered. In all cases students will pay on a regular week basis regardless of holidays. Please contact us before your booking.
11th Enrolment fee, books & class material
Al students will receive a course book, all additional class material provided by our teachers and a school folder – plus a T-shirt for 2 week courses or longer - when booking a course. If the student will like to buy a book of a different level, the cost will be 22 € per book + CD. There is a different course book for every language level, so if the student gets a higher level – approximately after 60/80 hours of language teaching – the student will have to buy another course book. If a student finishes a language course and after some time would like to start another course, the student will not have to pay the enrolment fee if s/he can use his or her previous course book, and will not receive any of the above.
12th VISAS
Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union do not need a Visa to enter Spain. Students coming from other countries should obtain information regarding the requirements for obtaining a VISADO (VISA) at their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. The certificates that accredit and confirm the enrolment in a Spanish program at IHDEMU can only be signed, sealed and sent by people authorized by IHDEMU, who will not be held responsible for rejected Visa applications due to the fact that these documents do not have any official power and merely serve as confirmation of a course in one of our centres. Such documents will only be sent to cover the amount of course time initially contracted by the student. IHDEMU will send out by ordinary mail, e-mail or fax, free of charge and to any student who asks for them, the following documents (if and only if the total cost of the programme has been paid):
- Confirmation of the Spanish program chosen by the student.
- Invoice for the total cost of the program in question (course + accommodation, if any).
- In the event that the student should urgently need the originals of any of these documents, IHDEMU will send them and charge the cost of the express mail to the student.
• If student visa is rejected IHDEMU will not return any money, although we will give 1 YEAR credit for students to obtain their visa and take the booked course in our school.
The student will be obliged to send IHDEMU a clear copy of the original formal proof of the rejected visa.
13th Acceptance of the General Conditions
Participation in our courses implies knowledge of and acceptance by the student and/or his/her parents or legal guardian of all General Conditions included.
