SUMMER CAMP.

Parents are becoming increasingly
aware of how much young people can gain from a broader
experience in a foreign country.
They expect junior programmes to be fun, interactive,
delivered in a safe environment, and they also look
for content, not just sending children on an overseas
trip.
This Summer Camp Programme is an excellent opportunity
for youngsters to discover another place and another
culture, as well as make friends and develop their Spanish
language competence, sports and social skills that will
be useful for the rest of their lives.

The summer vacation course
is a balanced programme of Spanish language and
Culture combined with carefully supervised sports,
creative leisure activities and excursions. The
programme is held all year round, as we have excellent
weather, with flexible starting dates, in a fully
equipped and modern Youth Hostel ten minutes walk
from the Mediterranean sea, in the Tiñoso
Cape Nature Reserve.

Our Junior Camp Programme
is suitable for young children aged 7-14
years. They follow a general Spanish course
designed specifically for young learners
and taught by experts. It aims at teaching
children to think spontaneously and creatively
in Spanish. We want kids to get excited
about using the language and develop habits
that foster fluency. Junior learners enjoy
things that are "hands-on", consequently
all the language content of the programme
has a practical application.
Students will get full-board campus-based
accommodation in multi-bedded rooms, with
specialist supervision 24 hours a day. Accommodation
is closely linked to the issue of children's
safety and well-being. An important advantage
of campus-based courses is that children
do not have to worry about travelling to
and from accommodation; this means that
students can enjoy a wide range of on-site
evening entertainment.
The youth hostel has 165 beds, a swimming-pool,
a disco-bar, karaoke and daily medical assistance,
a building of 1,000 square metres and gardens
of 45,000 square metres, open air sports
facilities and a farm, with 250 animals
of different breeds and races.

Our team
is made up from specialists (language
teachers, biologists and qualified activity
supervisors). They are selected on their
ability to listen, their friendliness,
enthusiasm and patience, but, most of
all, for their love of teaching children.
They have all been with us for several
years monitoring and developing our
educational activities.
Safety is a genuine concern for parents,
therefore we allay fears by explaining
that our activities are always supervised
and closely monitored. Our activity
programme is as follows: |
